AlgeBrew started in 2021 on a Grainfather G30, where we brewed over 150 different beers!

Below are the beers that we have brewed on our new 150L brewkit, starting in May 2025.

Style: Kölsch

ABV: 5%

Inspired by our recent trip to cologne, the first German beer style brewed on the new kit. Subtle & soft, a slight malty sweetness up front with a lovely crisp finish. Very drinkable at 5.0%.

Style: Best Bitter

ABV: 4.1%

A traditional, single hopped & perfectly balanced 4.1% best bitter. Caramel and biscuit notes, with a lovely grassy freshness from the Fuggles hops. Real ale, the union of rational & irrational brewing practices.

Style: American Pale Ale

ABV: 3.4%

A 3.4% American Pale Ale that proves big flavour doesn’t need big ABV. Light and easy drinking, offering a gentle balance of citrusy hops and subtle malt character, making it the perfect session beer. Smooth, approachable and very drinkable.
