AlgeBrew started in 2021 on a Grainfather G30, where we brewed over 150 different beers!
Below are the beers that we have brewed on our new 150L brewkit, starting in May 2025.
Beer: Golden Ratio

A perfectly balanced 4.5% hazy IPA, blending juicy hops with smooth malt for a brew that’s mathematically crafted to be delicious in every sip. A true equation of flavour!

Inspired by our recent trip to cologne, the first German beer style brewed on the new kit. Subtle & soft, a slight malty sweetness up front with a lovely crisp finish. Very drinkable at 5.0%.

A traditional, single hopped & perfectly balanced 4.1% best bitter. Caramel and biscuit notes, with a lovely grassy freshness from the Fuggles hops. Real ale, the union of rational & irrational brewing practices.

A crisp, 6.0% West Coast IPA, keeping things clean and classic. Single-hopped with Centennial, it delivers bright notes of pine, citrus, and floral bitterness with a dry, refreshing finish. Brewed with precision and simplicity in mind

A 3.4% American Pale Ale that proves big flavour doesn’t need big ABV. Light and easy drinking, offering a gentle balance of citrusy hops and subtle malt character, making it the perfect session beer. Smooth, approachable and very drinkable.

Introducing our extra special 5.6% bitter, the first test brew from our new larger kit. Bold, full-bodied and richly malty, this brew sets the stage for even more exciting creations ahead!
